Crafts & Activities

Check out these fun crafts, activities and program ideas.

https://www.sailorsforthesea.org/blog/back-school-marine-science-activities – This is from Sailors for the Sea, which is a nonprofit. This site has three videos showing activities for people to do. The activities are for kids 6-16, so I think it could still work for the teen website. There also is a linked pdf that has 50 more activities at the bottom of the page.

https://www.noaa.gov/education/resource-collections/special-topics/hands-on-science-activities – This is from the NOAA, which is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This site has a lot of activities for kids. These are advertised to be for all ages. They seem complex enough to be for younger teens.

https://wittycrafts.com/teen-crafts-ideas-and-activities-for-teenagers/beach-crafts-project-and-ideas-for-teens/ – This is a website that has activities specifically designed for teens. The activities are all designed to be done on the bach, but they can be replicated in other environments, such as a lake or in a pool. The site has a fair amount of activities listed.
