Information about Teen Video Challenge 2022

2021 was the last year for the long-running national Teen Video Challenge contest sponsored by CSLP and coordinated by State Library agencies. CSLP has discontinued the national competition for 2022.  We hope that public and school library staff will consider coordinating a similar contest at the local level to engage teen students in their communities and encourage them to create public service type videos to promote reading and library use for Summer Reading and all year long.  If you have any questions, please reach out to the New York State Library Youth Services Program Manager at nyslyouth@nysed.gov

Summer Reading at New York Libraries is funded in part through the Federal Library Services and Technology Act, with funds awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services. The New York State Library is a program of the Office of Cultural Education in the New York State Education Department.
