READsquared is an online reading program solution. This powerful application offers customization and configuration of CSLP-themed summer reading programs and other reading and learning programs, as well as readers’ advisory tools for all ages and all reading levels.

READsquared can help libraries of any size brand their reading programs and increase registration and participation of individuals, families, and groups through activities, book lists, challenges, and more. The product offers a variety of features to meet each library’s unique needs.

Once you submit the form, your library’s customized READsquared site will be configured within 48-72 hours. When your site is ready, you will receive an email from support@r2stg.zohosupport.com with administrative access information.

Then log in to your READsquared site! If you are new to the product, please visit the help menu in the column to the right. There you can view training materials and submit questions.

2021 Spring Training and Onboarding Dates

As part of your READsquared subscription, your library’s administrators and staff can attend free live trainings to learn more about running a successful reading program. In these one-hour sessions, we provide a step-by-step walkthrough of a READsquared site, including the administrator control room, and offer detailed explanations of all the features available for your patrons. All trainings and onboardings include a question and answer period.

Which one should I choose?

Onboardings cover all the basics of getting acquainted with your READsquared Site. These sessions are designed for new READsquared customers or new library staff using READsquared for the first time.
Recorded Onboarding

Spring Trainings are refresher trainings for those who have used READsquared and want to prepare for upcoming summer programs and possibly add more to their site. These sessions will cover the new theme, program testing, marketing, and advanced features.

A demo READsquared site is also available, if you would like to explore the application’s control panel before signing up. Please click here and enter NYAdminTest1 for both the username and password.

The State Library’s contract with READsquared runs from spring 2018 through December 31, 2022.  Through this contract, the  READsquared product is available only to public libraries and library systems. Schools and school libraries should contact the vendor, Systems Technology Inc. at  support@r2stg.zohosupport.com if they wish to inquire about READsquared or pricing.

Summer Reading at New York Libraries is funded through the Federal Library Services and Technology Act, with funds awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
