Kate DiCamillo as 2016-17 National Summer Reading Champion

The Collaborative Summer Library Program has announced that Newbery Award-winning author Kate DiCamillo will be the 2016-2017 National Summer Reading Champion.  As part of her role for CSLP, DiCamillo will be doing a live webcast on May 13th, 11:00AM-12:00PM Eastern time.  DiCamillo will be talking about the importance of summer reading as well as encouraging children to sign up for the Summer Reading program at their local library. DiCamillo will also be discussing her new book, “Raymie Nightingale” during this discussion.
