New York State, as part of Summer Reading at New York Libraries, is participating in the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) sponsored 2016 Teen Video Challenge. New York State has taken part in the Teen Video Challenge every year since 2011. Teens in New York State are invited to create a 30 to 90 second video with their unique interpretation of the 2016 CSLP teen slogan Get in the Game – Read in combination with reading and libraries. $150 will be awarded to the creators of the winning state video and their associated public library will receive prizes worth at least $50. Teen video submissions are due to local public libraries by March 4, 2016. For full competition details and entry forms visit: http://www.summerreadingnys.org/teens/teens-video-challenge/.
