Here are some fun summer reading things happening across the state for the upcoming week of July 5, 2015.
As part of the Summer Reading Challenge 2015 at the New York Public Library, readers between the ages of 6 and 18 can Win a Trip to a Yankees Game by writing a book review on any book about baseball or a baseball player. The deadline for entries is August 3, 2015.
The Plattekill Public Library will be sponsoring a Summer Reading Contest for Adults July 6-August 22 with weekly prizes. And on Saturday, July 11 at the Plattekill Public Library you can read to a therapy dog.
