Here are some fun summer reading things happening across the state for the upcoming week of June 28.
Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County is celebrating Summer Reading at Teen Central with a summer reading raffle where teens win books that have been donated to the library. In addition, Teen Central will run programs throughout the summer which promote science, art & cultural literacies and will conclude with a Summer Reading party where teens can win brand new, high interest recreational reading materials.
Plattekill Public Library is currently registering children for the summer reading program—a daily raffle for each reading slip a child returns can result in great prizes (see flyer below).
The Summer Reading Program for children entering grades K-5 begins June 29 at the Rye Free Reading Room http://www.ryelibrary.org/ Read books, win prizes, enter raffles, and enjoy opening and closing events!
