Summer Reading is for Adults, Too

While summer reading programs are typically aimed at children and teens, more and more libraries across New York State are expanding their programs to include adults. This year, to keep with the science theme, CSLP’s adult summer reading slogan is, “Literary Elements.” At the East Meadow Public Library, patrons 21 and older are encouraged to submit a review for each book read to be considered for various prizes. The library also provides a suggested reading list so patrons can participate in the book discussions offered during lunchtime and in the evening.
