The Family Summer Program, which takes place on Thursday mornings, includes a series of entertaining performances by storytellers, jugglers, musicians, and more. On Tuesdays, patrons can attend Summer on the Porch to participate in science experiments and read to Daisy, the service dog.

Other events going on at the Hazard Library:
August 2nd-9th: Annual book sale at the Poplar Ridge Fire House
August 14th: Meet and greet with Carolyn Mackler, popular teen author of Tangled
