Albany Public Library Announces New Children’s Library Card and Annual Summer Reading Program

Along with warmer weather, the summer has brought about new and exciting opportunities for children to get involved at the library. Local officials from Albany Public Library, the City of Albany, and the City School District of Albany came together for a press conference at City Hall on June 13th to announce literacy initiatives that aim to increase children’s access to library materials and emphasize the importance of reading during the summer break from school.
