Summer Reading Early Literacy Flyer now in 9 Translations

The New York State Library, as part of Summer Reading at New York Libraries, is pleased to announce nine new translations of a summer reading tip sheet for parents of young children, “Easy Ways to Grow a Reader.” The flyers, translated by Queens Library, contain helpful tips that parents can use to prepare their child for success when they enter kindergarten.

The flyer is now available in English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Haitian Creole, French, Korean, Polish, Russian, and Spanish. The flyers are available for download at http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/libdev/summer/facts.
